SV	En de vrouw nam en spreidde een deksel over het opene van den put, en strooide gort daarop. Alzo werd de zaak niet bekend.
WLC	וַתִּקַּ֣ח הָאִשָּׁ֗ה וַתִּפְרֹ֤שׂ אֶת־הַמָּסָךְ֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַבְּאֵ֔ר וַתִּשְׁטַ֥ח עָלָ֖יו הָֽרִפֹ֑ות וְלֹ֥א נֹודַ֖ע דָּבָֽר׃
Trans.	watiqq^aḥ hā’iššâ watifərōś ’eṯ-hammāsāḵə ‘al-pənê habə’ēr watišəṭ^aḥ ‘ālāyw hārifwōṯ wəlō’ nwōḏ^a‘ dāḇār:

AC	יט ותקח האשה ותפרש את המסך על פני הבאר ותשטח עליו הרפות ולא נודע דבר
ASV	And the woman took and spread the covering over the well's mouth, and strewed bruised grain thereon; and nothing was known.
BE	And a woman put a cover over the hole, and put crushed grain on top of it, and no one had any knowledge of it.
Darby	And the woman took and spread the covering over the well's mouth, and spread ground corn on it; and the thing was not known.
ELB05	Und das Weib nahm eine Decke und breitete sie über den Brunnen, und streute Grütze darüber aus, so daß nichts bemerkt wurde.
